I wish uad could tell us if their dsp cards got chosen because they offer more power than a fast cup, or because they can use it as a huge hardware dongle.
But I guess the 2nd choice is good. Because for the price people are paying, and what those dsps do cost, the dsp cards should have 2 or 3 times more chips.
A quad should have 8 or 12 dsps, an octo, 16 or 24. And they would still be making tons of cash, from each card sold. The dsp models they've chosen aren't among the slowest/less powerful ones. Why nobody wonder why they only have plug-ins, but NO SYNTHS?
